Al “Speedy” Gonzales is one of the most exciting young prospects in the talent laden 140 pound division Al was destined to be a boxer. Born in Dilley, Texas and raised in Barto, Florida, Al began boxing at the tender age of 4.
As an amateur, Al won several titles, including 3 consecutive Sunshine State Games and
the Chicago Golden Gloves in 2000.As a pro, Al “Speedy” Gonzales has a record of 16 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. He is the Illinois State Junior Welterweight Champion and is rated #10 y the North American Boxing Organization.
He’s been in training camps and sparred with 3-time World Champion Sugar Shane Mosley and Jr. Welterweight World Champion Floyd Mayweather.“Speedy” is managed by Albert Falcon and Pat Doljanin. Currently, he lives in Las Vegas where he is trained by the highly regarded, Jesse Reid.
Reid has trained 19 world champions and was recently inducted into the World boxing Hall of Fame.
